My first craft picture on my blog! Yay Me! This is my first-ever Fabric postcard for a swap buddy. I was very excited to get this done. I am a new sew-r so I was a little nervous on what it would turn out like. The thing in the middle is a piece of burlap that I stamped on and instead of stamping the flower head I added ink to the rest of it and then added a pretty pink and gold vintage button for the flower head. I frayed the edges a bit too. I think it turned out great for a first one!
I am a stay-at-home to a toddler girl. I recently lost my job and am used to working and being busy and I have been slowly learning how to occupy my time without loosing my mind and that is by crafting. I love to craft but it sure does cost you money. Dear craft store, why do you cost so much money? My goal is to do what I love to do, craft, and do it cheaply without it looking cheap. I frequently visit estate sales and re-sell stores and after searching for hours, I can come home with some pretty neat things, for crafts and home. I hope to get better at saving money, and enjoying my hobby without breaking the bank.
