Here are the earrings I made that I spoke about in an earlier post. They are for a swap partner of mine. I sent them in a lot of bubble wrap but am worried that the posts will get snapped off if something heavy got put onto of them. We will have to wait and see. I think they turned out great! More earrings to come....
a note for post earring shipping - once thing I have done is stick them in a piece of fairly flat Styrofoam or closed cell foam (like pool noodle stuff) I keep some from most of the electronics packages I get, it is thin enough to mail, but thick enough to cover the posts. Then just tape a small baggie with the backs onto the foam. -- I am PurpleTX @ SB -- adding you to my reader now -- Happy swapping in 2010!

ReplyDeleteThanks! I have just gotten into making stud earrings with Shrinky Dink paper. I just made some new ones that I posted yesterday. The MAC ones got stuck to the pan so they aren't so glossy so I will have to re-do those. I love my Jem earrings though. It has become quite an addiction.
